Over the last couple of months, you may have noticed me emphasizing the importance of nutrition in regard to overall fitness. That is because, like the fitness pyramid illustrates, nutrition is the foundation upon which all other levels of fitness are built. Much like building a house, no matter how beautiful, it is only as strong as the foundation on which it is built.
It’s this recognition that has led us to partner with Healthy Steps Nutrition in an effort to provide our members (and non-members) with the most beneficial program we could find.
Healthy Steps Nutrition was founded by Nicole Aucoin, a registered dietitian, and CrossFit affiliate owner. She has over 10 years experience helping individuals reach their goals through nutrition.
CrossFit Bensalem and Healthy Steps Nutrition have partnered to begin bringing your proven, results-driven programs.
These services will include nutrition consultations, 4 or 6 weeks customized jump starts and on-going accountability through our wellness membership!
To kick things off we’ll be running a 28-Day Jump-Start to Summer Nutrition Challenge starting May 14th with a kick-off seminar Saturday, May 12 at 11 am. This challenge will be open to both CFB members and non-members because we understand the importance of member’s families being on board, as well as, those non-members who are just getting started on their fitness journey.
